This crazy Norwegian was a big part of why we had such a great time on our visit.  He was our main contact during the planning, he picked us up at the train station, gave us a tour of Trondheim and he got us to the family farm where we stayed.  He was the one who let all the cousins know we were coming so they could plan to spend time with us.  And he had us to his cabin for some imported cognac and Norwegian aquavit.
